Devlin (Nationalist, Belfast), addressing a meeting, said the Ulster Parliament would not solve lns& insulted their nationality and intelligence. Theie was considerable firing at Kingston, Dublin late .on 'Sunday night, due to simultaneous attacks on thf military guard at three pomt». Unofficial reports assert that the Ke publicans, had Planned a raid on the naval base at Kingstown. A BOSTON INCIDENT. NEW YORK, March 28. A remarkable incident occurred .at Boston during festivities in connexion with the visit of Mr O'Callaghan, Lord Mayor of Cork, to the city. Irish sympathisers pulled down the British flag which was flying at the home of Dr. Ladd, in the aristocratic Back Bay District. Dr Ladd threw the trampled flag about his shoulders, stepped out into the street, and challenged the members of the mob who had insulted the. emblem. The only answer was hisses. The doctor returned home and hung out the flag. The mob surged toward the house, but the police arrived Defore violence was committed.
