The Montreal correspondent of the "New York Tribune',' states that political circles are discussing the transfer of the control of tlhe Canadian railways from'tbo Government into the hands of a privately-owned syndicate, -which will operate and, perhaps, also own them. It is understood that a special session of Parliament may be called in the autumn to discuss the matter. The Opposition recently attacked the Government as a result of its operating the lines at a loss. .
