TWO BALLOTS TO-DAY.

Two blocks of land for soldier settlement will bo balloted for this morning at 10 o'clock. About 20 applications have been received in the case of each block, most of tho applicants for tho first one being T.B. men. The first block is-tho Reihei settlement at Hornby, comprising 53 .icres 1 rood 20 porches, divided into 17 sections, of areas ranging from about threo to five acres. Tho second block is a pastoral run of 3403 acres in the Alford Forest Survey District.
