METROPOLITAN SHOW.

* JUDGING DAY. The Ghristchurch Metropolitan Show will be held to-morrow and on Friday, at the Show Grounds, Addington. To-morrow sheep, cattle, draught and harness horses, pigs, implements, dairy produce, etc., will be judged, and the pedigree stock .sale will commence at 2.30 p.m. Hunters' events and pony jumping will also be held. On Friday (People's Day) saddle horses, military horses, carriers' and tradesmen's turnouts, etc. will be judged, in addition to which there will bo the usual jumping events and grand parade of live stock. Private motor cars and motor cycles will not be allowed to enter the Show Grounds except by way of the Whiteleigh avenue entrance.
