The likelihood of Austria disappearing from tho map of Europe is foreshadowed bv Sir William Goode, president of the Austrian section of the Reparations Commission. He states that the delegates of nine Powers on his section have presented a unanimous report to the Reparations Commission, upon which it is expected that the Powers will mako' the grave decision indicated. It is pointed out that conditions in Austria have readied such a point that the corporate existence. or the country has become practically impossible. GISBORNE'S GAS SUPPLY. 4 -- (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) GISBORNE, November 9! The manager of .the Gas Company has received word that the collier Ivaramu left Groymouth on Monday night, and should unload 400 tons of coal at Gisborne on Saturday. In the meantime it is probable enough coal can be borrowed to enable the continuance of the gas supply till then.
