Nordon, who left the Dominion some months ago wjth the idea of taking up his residence in the British Isles or in South Africa, has decided to return to New Zealand. Private advice received in this city is to the effect that Mr Nordon will reach the Dominion early in January, and intends settling in Wellington" Mr J. M. -Dawson, manager of the Petone and Hutt branches of tho Bank of New Zealand for tho past ten rears, has received noticc of his transfer to Rangiora. As a token of tho esteem in which he is held by the combined staffs, Mr Dawson was last week presented with a leather suit case. 1
