GOVERNMENT POLICY. "(By Caljle—Press Association—Copyright.) (Reuter's Telegrams.) LONDON, June 7. In the House of Commons, replying to Mr T. Donald (Labour Unionist, Belfast), Mr Lloyd George emphasised that- the Government intended to take steps to bring to justice all persons associated with crime in Ireland. The Government, in this connexion, was reorganising the Irish Executive, and strengthening the police, naval, and military forces in Ireland. It would probably also bo necessary to strengthen the law for dealing with crime. The Government intended to put down the present organised campaign of murder and assassination. MILITARY MEASURES. DUBLIN, June 8. It is stated that the new system of military patrols is bearing fruit. Military intervention frustrated an attack on the. constabulary, barracks at Brosna, County Kerry. f'Tiio Times.") DUBLIN, June S. Munitions are hurriedly arriving at Cork. The Harbour Commissioners refused to unlock the big crane for unloading transports. Soldiers broke tho locks and commenced unloading, butmade little progress in the absence of the dockers. The railway strikers have not returned. At Limerick tho workers refused to handle coal intended for the constabulary. Constables unloaded it, protected by an armed escort. DE VALERA'S INTENTIONS." De Valera has written to the Irish Vigilance Association, stating that he is shortly leaving America, and will visit England, "Because it i& due to the loyalty and co-operation of my friends in England that I should call and personally deliver my message. After that I- will cross and feast my eyes afresh upon the long-tortured and outraged land to which alone wo owe our inherited allegiance."
