GERMAN ELECTIONS.
STATE OP PASTIES. (By Cable —Press Association—Copyright.) (Australian and N-Z. Cable Association.) BERLIN, June 8. The prospects of a maintenance of the Coalition axe small, unless a reconciliation is effected between the Socialist wings, which "Vorwaerts ' recommends. The "Lokal Anzeiger' says:—The only success achieved by th© Government in the elections lav m the fact that order was not disturbed, except m one mun'cipality in Pomerania, where tho Independents burned the ballot (Received June 9th. 10.40 p.m.) BERLIN, June 8. The latest election figures show that there is a prospect of the Government Coalition commanding a working majority against the extremists of both sides. Tho Social Democrats hold 38 seats, the Majority Socialists 86, and tho Centre Party 6i, whereas tho Rational Conservatives have 41, and the Independent Socialists 61. Cabinet has resigned, but will conduct business until the elections are i completed.
