NOTICE is given that an EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING of t-he Members of the NEW ZEALAND FARMERS' CO-OPERATIVE ASSOCIATION OF CANTERBURY. LIMITED, will be held on SATURDAY, the 19th day of JUNE, 1920, at eleven o'clock in the forenoon, at the Registered Office of the Association in Cashel street, in the City of Christchurch, for tho purpose of considering, and, if thought fit, passing tho following Extraordinary Resolution: — "That" the Capital of tho Association bo increased to £1,500,000, by the creation of 50,000 new Shares of £5 each, to bo called "B" Preforenco Shares, and that the provisions following in regard thereto shall have effect, that is to say:— 1. The said new preference share® shall carry a fixed cumulative preferential dividend at tho rate of Six Pounds per centum per annum on the capital for the time being paid up thereon. "2. The said new preference 6hares shall rank for dividend next alter the 50,000 existing "A" Preference Shares, and in priority to the ordinary sharca for tho time being of the Association. "3. The eaid new preference shares shall rank "as regards capital pari passu with tho ordinary shares for the time being of the Association. "4. Every holder of the said new preference shares shall have and be entitled to the same number of votes in rerpect of the new preference shares held by him, os he would have been entitled to if such new preference shares had been ordinary shares. "5. The Association is to bo at liberty from time to time to create and issue further preference shares ranking inall respects pari passu with the said 50,000 new preference shares. "G. That tho Directors of the Association be _ and they are hereby authorised to issue the said new preference shares to such poreons, and on such terms and conditions, and to be paid for by such instalments or otherwise as they mav think fit."
