"Mr J. 0. McGillivrav has been appointed instructor in book-keeping in connexion with the evening classes at the Christchurch Technical Colloge. Mr P. R. Climie, organiser of {he Canterbury Progress League, will leave to-day for the West Coast, where he will spend ten days in connexion with the organisation there of the. League. It was announced at the meeting of the Canterbury College Board of Governors yesterday that Major Shelly will commence his duties at the Colloga as Professor of Education in July.
