ESCAPE FROM MT. EDEN GAOL.
(PRESS ASSOCIATION TF.I.r.r,RAM. , I AUCKLAND, January 11. William Frederick Murray," alias Jackson, alias Stanbrook, a senman who was serving a sentence for theft, escaped from Mount Eden gaol yesterday afternoon, presumably by scaling the wall. Murray entered a house where ho stole a suit of civilian clothes, leaving his prison attire in exchange. lie has not been seen since. Murray had been declared a habitual criminal.
