The principal exhibitors of sweet peas were | Messrs T. E. Whtifield, H. AViliiams. G. AV. I Metcalf, and F. Mulholland, end oi earn*1 tions. Messrs H- Landery, R. D. Ovcrend, X. j E. Whitnold, and J. Timbrel!. j Goxl entries were also rrvr.ived in the decorative classes, whilst among tho interoj«ti:is features of th« show were a bi~ aisI play of c.it flowers, from the New Zealand Glue Company, Limited, AVoalston, and a stand of swe.-t peas. naturally grown, by Mr Y. Lang. Excellent tradi» displays were mado by the Christchurcsh Nursery Company (roses;, Mejors Njirn and ton (shrub* and cut flowers;, and Mr AV. Jones (palms and begonias). j The judges were:—Carnation*: Mr AV. Taylor. Sweet pea?: Mr R. IV Overend. Cut flowers, pot r>iar. ts. and fruit: Mr AV. Jones. Roses: Mr J. Poulsen.
