PARLIAMENTARY TRIP TO SAMOA.
PROBABLE ABANDONMENT. (SPECIAL TO "THE PRESS.") WELLINGTON, January 8. One almosb certain consoquenco of the coming of the Prince of "Wales to New Zealand this year will bo tho abandonment of the proposed Parliamentary trip to Samoa. Tho Princo is reported to bo coming hero about; April, and it had been intended that tho members of Parliament should leave for Samoa about that time. Tho Prince will be hero for about u month, and tho trip to Samoa could not Ikj mado in less than six weeks. This moans that the Samoa trip will havo to bo abandoned for this year. (PRESS association telecuam.) WELLINGTON, January 8. Owing to the visit of tho Princo of Wales to Now Zealand it will l>o impossible for members of Parliament to visit Samoa before next session.
