GERMAN PRESS COMMENT. * pcbjf—Pr*«t» Association—Capjrltfet.) (Auitralian and Cable Awociitioa.) t (Rccoived January 7th, 8.45 p.m.) 6 w BKKLIN, January 6. ® rh« German newspapers aro reproduc- t jng tho ox-Kaiser's letters to toe late Uzar. j The Conservatives maintain that they wo private letters and should not have been published without tho ex-Kaiser's consent, because the German Social D»roocrats and the "enemy" will use them to corroborate their reproach that tho «x-Kniscr directed Germany's Foreign lolicy, and _ draw unjustified conclu••ons concerning guilt for tho wiir. The "Allgemaino Zeitung" declares that the letters are of tho highest historical importance, and extremely valuable as indicating the characters of tho two monarch* and especially tho striv•nps of the Kaiser. ( "Germania" declares that "now the t Kaiser's manifest friendliness towards t Roman Catholicism is shown to be not < genuine." 1
