' | Allison (churchwarden) and P. E. Bean (vofI trvman), who are leavir.g the district. Mr ; Allison, who has recently been appointed , | headmaster of the Greymouth District High ! School, was presented by Mr C. A. Agar, on ; behalf of those present, with a pockot walle"t* Mrs and Miss Allison a2so recfivod '• gifts. Mr Bean, late stationmaster u.t Lyt- ! telton, who has retired on superannuation, ■ was pr»wnted with a ca*e of pipes. Musical items were given by members of the party. !
