DOMINION TOURNAMENT. i Soveral greens were occupied yesterday by ! visiting bowler*, wbo are horo to take part in | tho teventh annual tournament held under i the auspices of tbo Dominion of New Zealand ! Bowling Association. The arrangements are jlow praotionJly complete, and pl»y will comn»enco to-morrow, at O.'JO a.m., with the T}oubk!n competition. The greens to bo used are Beekcnhum, Canterbury, Cliristchurch, Edfjowire, Kaiapoi, lain wood, Lyttelton, Now j Brighton, Opawu, St Albans, Papanui, Sumner, Sydenham, and United. Should tho weather hold pood the visitors wilt bare no causo to complain about tho greens, as they hive all been specially prepared, and from all account are playing well. By thiA ntoning's bout the majority of iJio visitors from the North should arrive, und at X p.m. tho annual friendly bowl game between the Christchnrch. and Wellington ' C'lnbs will he played on tho Christchurch green. j On Saturday afternoon the North and I .South Inland match will be played on the | Canterbury green, and in the evening a meet- ; ing of the Council toll bo held. I On Sunday morning tho visitors will be I taken for a motor run in tho country, and ' vill be entertained at lunch. Monday will be dovoted to rink play, and in the evening a meeting of delegates .will Joe held in the Builders' Room, Gloucester street, at 8 o'clock. All bowler* will be entertained at a unioko concert in the Mason ia Hall, which practically terminal** the entertainment programme. SUMNEB CLUB.
