A. member of tho Overseas Club and Patriotic League living at liuenos Aires vouches for the following story of the sc-If-sacrifico of a collio dog: Ono wot evening a female dog found her way in from the street, and evidently bogged iheiter from tho collie, for he was found in the morning outside his kennel, half iWd from the cold and wet, while the female (log, an entire stranger, was comfortably installed inside the kennol with five newly-born puppies. The poor collie never recovered from the exposure, but died shortly afterwards of rheumatic fevex.
