Staff Officer to tho Guards Division during tlio war, and is tho Prince's political adviser. 110 is reputed to be largely responsible for the Prince's outstanding statements interpreting tho Dominions' nationalism. Commnnder Dudley North served in H.M.S. New Zealand, and was Admiral TTalsev's favourito staff offieor. It is officially stated that the appointments to the Prince's staff will not bo mado for some time. . . The visit will bo a full State visit, complete with royal ceremonials. Princoss Mary is anxious to accompany her brother, to whom she is warmly attached, but it is unlikely that her wish will bo granted, becauso it would bo impossible to accommodate her in a battleship, and the King and Qtieen do not desire to remove a liner from tho important repatriation, trade, and reconstruction work. It is officially stated that Princess Mary will not accompany the Prince of Wales to Australia. Tho Prince hopes to spend threo months in Australia and New Zealand, returning to England boforo his Indian trip.
