TIMBEB-MTT.T, DESTROYED. (PRESS ASSOCIATION TEI.EGRAiI.) AUCKLAND, January G. A disastrous firo occurred at Heme Bay this afternoon, when a timl>er mill owned by Cashmoro Brcs., Ltd., was completely destroyed. The flames spread rapidly, and, hamnernd liv lack of water,'the brigado had no hopo of effecting a save. The estimated value of the mill and plant was between £4000 ami £-5000, and the timber stocks £10CX). Tlio insurances are understood to be £5000. About forty inen aro temporarily out of work.
