CASUALTIES. 4 Mr James Cow, District Coroner, ield an inquest at Methven on Saturday, touching tho death of John Watson, an old man, who died suddenly on Friday. A verdict was returned that death was a result of heart failure, duo to chrouic Bright's disease. At tho inquest on O. M. JBurdon, who was found dead at "Woodbury on Sunday morning with a revolver bullet in the head, evidcnco was given that tho deceased had boon in ill-hoalth for a Jong timo, and had been under medical treatment. Ho was missed on Saturday evening, and after searching lor him all night, a party foundi tho body in a plantation about a quarter of a mile from tho houso. A verdict was returned that deooased died from tho effects of a revolver 6bot, self inflicted. An inquost was held at tho Magistrate's Court yesterday, before Mr S. E. McCarthy. Coroner, touching tho death of Catherine O'Malley, a widow, agod G3 years, who died suddenly on Sunday at tho residence of her brother, John Glynn, 229 Bealey avenue. A verdict was returned in accordanco with ' tho medical testimony of Dr. Duncan , that death was duo to heart failuro.
