Atmospheric preesnro has increased steadily in the south, but is still below normal in the far north. Present indications are for strong south and ronth-eart winds, and cold, changeable weather generally. Further rain is probablo northwards of New Plymouth ana 0a»tlepoint, and scattered showers elsewhere but a general improvement may be expected soon. The barometer rising, but unsteady in the northern districts.
