1 THE SWUMING STEPS. The swimming stops, at Use bend, in the Gladstone pier, havo been well patronised during tha recont hot weather. The step* provido an ideal bathing plaoe far swimmer* and a commodious platform has been built under the wharf for use as a dressing room. On Saturday tho place wo« crowded all day. There is no provision for non-ewimmers. THE PICTURES. Enid Bonnett will bo seen at the Harbour Light Pictures to-night in "Puss and Peathors."
