Geo. Oreen, a married man, residing at Belfast, received injuries to his spine owiiie; to a boiler rolling over the lower p;irt of his body at tho Belfast Freezing 'Works yesterday morning. IJe was brought into the Christchurch Hospital, j At about <> p.m. yesterday an acci-1 di.nt occurred at the vomer of Fuller! and High streets, Kaiapoi. A gig containing Mrs (\ Driscoll, of Girder j Bridge, and three other ladies, was' turning the corner when the off wheel j t(i!lap.s'.'d, causing the occupants to be thrown to the ground. ' A bi-v named Muir, of Ashburton, ' rf-ceivwi severe cuts on the legs on Nov. I Year's Kve. Ho placed a bomb in a ; bottle.
