Ilio annual picnic of the Bakers and Pastrycooks and allied trades will bo held at liaiapoi on Saturday nest. Included in the programme for tie Xew Brighton Beach Carnival cn Saturday next are juvenile dancing events, a darklown proceeeion, the burning of % manuka hut and numerous other attractions for both day and evening. The Riccarton Horticultural Society's autumn show will bo held on tho Racecourse to-morrow.
Tbe annual sale of work in connexion wuh St. Matthew's Church, St. Al'oans, will be held to-morrow afternoon and evening-.
