RETURNED SOLDIERS' MATINEE.
The niatmeo to be held to-morrow afternoon in tho Theatre Royal, in aid of the Returned Soldiers'" BuildinoUI - promises to bo in everv wav a big success. A glance at the proas shown in another portion oi this issue, should convince the most hardened playgoer that this is an event which should not be' missed The entire New English Musical Comedy Company, now in season at the Theatre Royal, will be seen in various items, which promise to be exceptionally entertaining. Special numbers will be contributed by various members of this company, together with selections'from their repertoire of the most popular comic operas of the day. liiis in itself should be sufficient attraction, but, in addition, several artists from the Opera House will appear. the celebrated Italian operatic tenor, Cappelli, will bo heard in several items, including Tosti's "MatI turata, and "A Trieste," a beautiful Italian patriotic air. Barop, a clever ventriloquist, will contribute a humorous interlude. The famous Kowpio iVi a be seen in their acrobatic ballet, and also will appear with Billy Maloney m a special item. The rush tor seats indicates the great interest being taken m the. matinee. The box plan is now open at Milner and Thomppons, and intending patrons are advised to make their reservations without delay.
