Hiero was to have gone to Oamaru this morning, but ho broke down in a hind fetlock yesterday morning, and the trip was cancelled. . Gamecock, who looks a greaty improved j horee since the Midsummer Meeting, leaves I for Oamaru to-day in the oharee of P. McGrath, who will also take Sea Blue down. Gay Lad has improved a great deal in condition during the last few weeks, and was j responsible for a 6mart sprint over five furj longs yesterday.'
