FRUITGROWERS' ASSOCIATION.
A meeting of Canterbury Fruitgrowers' Association was held on Saturday evening, M> H. Wyatl presiding over a good attendance of members. It was decidod to send a remit to the directors of the New Zealand Fruitgrowers' Federation concerning frost inauranoo. It was also decided to enquire if it were possible to purchase cherry netting' f Ihroueh the Xew Zealand Federation. After a letter protesting against the compulsory use of a case other than the present L»wao read, HV F. Sieson stated that no regulation wcmJd be made compelling Uie use of\ny eoecisJ case wrthiii the Dominion. The regulation case would only be compulsory in tbe caeo of fruit to he exported.
