There wae a, good attendance at the committee meeting oi the Ash burton Agricultural and Pastoral Association -held on Saturday. Mr James Cow presided. A ailent vote of sympathy was passed with the relatives of the late Mr W. R.- Anderson of Liamore who had been a valuable member of tie Associate. The Railway Department wrote stating that there would be no conocesion <n fares for judges or other passengers attending the Association's show i n Maifch. s}low ezhibita, if unsold and returned within one month irom date of show, would be carried free to the original sending station the same as last year.
