Ifc is understood the Cabinet Council discussed demobilisation, tie size of fhe army of occupation, and the strikes. The demobilisation is now 35,000 daily. It ia expected that men who joined before ISM* will automatically be demobilised. The approximate «*• of the army needed for the next eight or nine months is about 900,000, bat this •jnli as volunteering develops and jreeponsibflitiee contract. The general aim will be to demobiliee all over thirty-6ve. Men who are retained in the army for various necessary purposes will &A substantially increased pay.
