(press association telegrams ,\ . ASHBFRTON, January 30. • Qiarles "Edward Madden, aged' seventy-one years, was found dead last night in a hut in Suffolk etreet, Trevorton. The deceased had been attended for heart trouble. An inqueat was opened, but was adjourned. TAIHAPE, January 30. A returned soldier, named John Bagley, aged about thirty-three, who had been missing from his homo since' the evening of Tuesday, was found dead by the police in the Hantapa river, near Taihapc, at five o'clock this morning. It is presumed, as bis hat was found then;, that ho had fallen from a cliff into the river, a hundred ieet below, but there were no abrasions, or bruises to indicate such a fall. Ha leaves a widow and three children. DUXEDIN, January 30, The body of Mrs Elizabeth Catherine j Keily, 47, was found on Tahuna I Beach. Apparently she had. jumped' I from the cliffs into the water.
