OPERA HOUSE. The present week's vaudeville bill is proviflS a big attraction at the Opera House, and last night there wae another large audience', which gave big receptions to Murfayne, Brnll and Hene]ey, the Gilfain, Trio, and Jones and Raines in the first halt and' to Tom Eavorley's Revue Company "Two Irish Sporte"—in the second half. The programme will be repeated to-night and thqre will bo the usual matinee to-morrow afternoon. "THAIS." The infamous woman •Thais" is the central figure of the gorgeous spectacular sßperfeature "Thias," which will be screened at ■Everybody's Theatre all nett week, with Mary Garden as the star. AnatoJo Franco created a great sensation by hie novel i "Thais," but au even greater sensation has been created wherever the film version of the book has been screened. The production is on a, scale of groat splendour, and for goigoonsneßS it is said to stand alone as a, screen achievement. The "Evening: Poet," of Wellington eays: "'Thais' is worth seeing —it is romantic, beautifully staged, -with. every detail correct and the dressing is exquisite." Special musical selections will accompany the presentation of "Thais," amongst which, the following will bo played by Everybody's Select Orchestra; —Thais" (Massenet), "La Bohem«," "Madame Butterfly," and the Garden" music, ete. The box plan is now open at The Bristol, and intending patrons may either book there or ring 'phone 3925. The current week's programme, featuring , Mae Marsh, in "The Face in, the Dark," and Biilio Burke in "Peggy" was shown to large audiences ycet-erday, and will be repeated to-day. LIBERTY THEATRE. At LEbe-rty Theatre ' yesterday, Charles Chaplin, Marjorio Wilson, and Florence Heed in their respective bi» pictures, proved' big l attractions.
