The following civil cases, which have been held over from the last sittiDg, wil] be heard at the Supremo Court on Monday before his Honour Mr Justice Herdmaji: — Before a Common Jury cf 12. Henry W. Busch (Mr Grescon) v. David Bates (Mr Baymor.d, K.C.), £1033 18s damages. Stuart Milne Anderson (Mr Caesidy) v. Alexander William Allison (Mr Johnston)' £1470 7s 7d damages. ' Before a Common Jury of Four. John S. Brake (Mr Dougall) v. Geor»e Clark (Mr Cassidy), claim £230 for allced slander. " MAGISTERIAL. (Before Mr T. A. B. Bailey, S THEFT. David Henry Mason, a youth, was charged with stealing an accumulator, valued, at £1, the property of Alfred A. Tippett. Accused was fined 40s and costs. CIVIL BUSINESS. Emma Hamilton (Mr Lucas) sued D. H. and
C. P. Pull an (Mr J. A. Caseidy) for £25, amount allegedly duo for interest on a mortgage. The caee was-adjourned until February 24th. Francis Tarlor (Mr Cuningham) proceeded against George Bradford (Mr Lucas) for £15 damages on account of alleged fraudulent representation. Mr Cuningham stated that Bradford sold to Taylor a small hairdressing and tobacconist's business in , Ferry road, for a certain en, The plaintiff afterwards discovered that certain fitting 3 which had been, sold to him for £10 wore really tho property of the landlord. Tho defendant denied the allegation of fraud. Judgment was given for the plaintiff for the amount claimed, with costs.
