LOSS OF OIL LAUNCH.
1 CAPTAIN AND ENGINEER DROWNED. (PBESS ASSOCIATION* TELEGRAMS.) WAITARA, January 25. The oil launch Mahoe 'was trashed up on a roef. Captain Roberts was drowned while trying to swim ashore. The engineer, Mr Jamieson, was shut in the engine-room, whore presumably he was suffocatod. His body was recovered this morning, and the captain's was washed ashore. i
