CASUALTIES.
♦ A man named John Brown, who resided at 127 Montreal street, wa_s found dead yesterday hanging from, a beam in one of the rooms occupied by Messrs Davidson and Waucliop in Madras street. Tho deceased, it is stated, was seen by an employee of the warehouse about 4.10 p.m., when he was engaged in fixing up stock, but some time after, as he, had been missed, an employee was sent to look for him and found him hanging. The deceased, during the recent epidemic, lost his wife, nis son, his wire's father, ■ and. two brothers-in-law, and since that time ho had been very depressed, suffering, it would seem, from melancholia. Au inquest will be held to-day at noon.
