9 . ' COMBINED CRICKET AND BASEBALL. Vicroro, a new game combining the principle of both cricket and baseball, was played, by a party of soldiers at the Vic- : toria Barracks, Sydney, a fow days ago. The inventor claims that tho game will supply the "missing exercise" for people who do not care to take sporting chance of the hard knocks in cricket The game is similar to cricket, but tne rules have been altered and added to with ' the idea of making the play faster and more interesting.
