Hack in tho Schoolroom on Friday, A public meeting, will be held in the Ghonl Hall at 8 o'clock to-morrow evening for the purpose of discussing proportional repreeentalion. , Entries for the Amateur Cottag« GowflO Competition in connexion with the Canterbury Horticultural Society will cloee at the Society's office, Baker's Buildings, on Friday evening, at 8 o'clock. Tho prize list will be published in Friday morning's TM prize money for the Sweet Pea fchow wall M paid over the same evening.
