The Air Ministry is preparing an experimental airplane flight to Capetown shortly. The trip will probably take a week or a fortnight. . No attempt will be made at a speed record. the purpose of the flight being to demonstrate the best route. i A LONG TRIP TO INDIA. LONDON,. January 16. The Hundley-Page machine which arrived in India is Colonel MacEwan's four-engined giant. The journey lasted a month. The aviator experienced bad weather throughout. Fog delayed the early stages. MAIL SERVIci TO PARIS. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) (Received January 20th, 8.40 p.m.) LONDON, January 18. The first aeroplane post flight carried despatches from Hendon to Versailles in 106 minutes, and returned in under two hours.
