POLAND.

GERMAN INTENTIONS,

(By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright 1 (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON, January 15. It is now revealed that it was Germany's determination -to seize all the provisions of the Poles in Prussia if the Polish provinces in Germany were restored to Poland. All parties in Germany agreed to this step, as Poland was regarded as even more important than the left bank of the Rhine.

Herr Ebert declared that if the Polish provinces were roturned, Germany would re-conquer the West through the East. These statements were made at a secret meeting of all parties, convened when Prince Max was Chancellor. The German policy now is to have Poland as a prey after the Bolshevists have ravaged it, hence the Germans are handing over their arms to the Bolshevists.
