DEATH OF PRINCE JOHN.

Prince John Charles Francis was the yohngest momber of l . familv. He was born on Julj i-™. 1905," and was therefore in his fo teenth year. The children of their Majesties numbered six, , , Edward Albert (Prince of .alos), Prince Albert Frederick. (Received January 20th. 7.25 p.m.) LONDON, January 19. An official announcement sa s"® : ~" Prince John died in his sleep on Satturday afternoon after an epileptic seizure. THEIR MAJESTIES GRIEF STRICKEN. (Australian and Cable Association.) (Received January 21st, 1.20 a.m.) LONDON, January 19. Official.—Prince John had suffered from epilepsy since childhood. Death was sudden. Tho King and Queen had been warned by tho physician in attendance of .the probability of the end, but both were absent from the room when death occurred. Tho Prince died while resting in bed after an epileptic seizure. The nurse summoned their Majesties to the death chamber. They were overcome with grief. Many flags in the city were at halfmast yesterday afternoon on receipt of the news of the death of Prince John.
