The Dunedin actor, Reynolds Denniston (who, with his wife, Valontine Sidney, is with the Dan Frawley Comwrites as follows to 'Syc|noy Theatre' from the Excelsior Theatre, Bombay (India) : —"This is my first experience of India. It is, of course, extremely interesting: but it has not the charm of either China or Japan. It is necessary on the Eastern tour to carry a large repertoire. Ours consists of fifteen plays. Both 'Sid' and I keep remarkably fit and well. How I sometimes laugh at those doctors who used to tell me I could never act or work again! We may do another tour with Mr Frawley."
