AGGREGATE OF 4,942,000 TONS. (By Cable.—Pi®9» Aeaooiatipn.—-CorpjTigiit.) (Australian and N.Z. J^eociatioa.) (Received January 20th, 12.30 a.m.) LONDON, January 17. "Lloyd's Register" says 424 merchantmen, aggregating 1,979,952 tons, were under construction in the United Kingdom at the end of December, ferroconcrete vessels not being included. The Allies and neutral countries are constructing 17G5 vessels, aggregating 4,942,037 tons.
