SEAMEN'S UNION INTERVENES. .

(By Cable.—Prm Association.—Copyright.) (Australian Mid N.Z, Guiblo Association.) LONDON, January 17. The Seamen's and Firemen's Union has summoned an international conference in London for February 24th, to~ consider the .holding up of foodstuffs bound for enemy countries.

Mr Havelock Wilson, in an interview, 9 stated ho hoped that Australia, Canada, 1 and New Zealand would be represented, 1 as well as America and the European Al- 1 lied and neutral countries. If the con- ;l ference adopted the British section's resolution, of which copies had been sent ■£ to Mr Lloyd George, President Wilson and M.
