CRITICAL TIMES AHEAD

(By Cable.—Fteu Ae*ociation.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Awociition.) LONDON,' January 14. The "Daily Telegrapn" Btates that among the Sinn Fein plans are the following:— (1) The summoning of a National Assembly in Dublin. (2) Compelling the repudiation of the annual payments for land purchased under the Wyndham Acts, using tho boycott against newcomers if the holders are evicted. (3) A national strike. (4) A national levy on trade and property, according to tax valuation, using tne boycott against defaulters. (5) Capture of the County Councils and Poor Law bodies which control the administration of £3,000,000. The success of the last scheme is almost certain, and its importance can scarcely bo over-eßtimated, as it gives control of a vast number of contracts, permitting patronage. The next few months will bo critical. The Sinn Fein must attempt something on a big scale, as the rank and file insist on the leaders showing results. SINN FEIN MEMBERS CONFER. (Australian and N.Z.
