Details of new regulations regarding the entry of foreigners into the Netherlands have been received by Mr Morris Copeland. of Wellington, Vice-Consul for the Netherlands, from the ConsulUeneral, Melbourne. These regulations, which do not apply to members of. the British Army, provide that any foreigners arriving in the Netherlands must appear personally within 24 hours before tho Chief of Police of the municipality in which they arrive, and must notify immediately any subsequent change of address. Giving his own personal opinion of the reason for the new regulation, Mr Copeland said that doubtless it was made for the purpose of controlling Bolshevists who might enter the country.
