Sir—Not knowing who is secretary of the Christchurch Eaater Bowling Tournament Executive, I liave taken tho liberty of appioaching him through your paper. Up to lwo years ago Pains weio included in the 'tournament; for aomo reason they were dropped from the laet two programmes. This £, with many others, consider a mistake, and am in a position to assure tho committee that if they reinstate Doubles they will have a better entry for Rinka than if they cater for Rinks alone. If Pairs are played on tho Saturday there will be at least six rinks' from tho South Canterbury Centre that will not enter for Rinks aione. Waimate will eend two rinka and four pairs if Pairs are ployed; if Rinks' alone, Waimate will not be represented. Hoping that this suggestion will meet with approval.—Your®, etc., e KIA TOA. Timaru, January 17th.
