Irish Elegance was always well placed, and ridden a judicious race, she won cleverly from The bupper, •with Bombproof u fair third. .^ e named was not ridden a particularly good raco as, after getting away rather badly, ho was made too much uso of over the three furlongs, so that'after getting to the front ho died av/ay. Onco More, who was ono of the first to begin, hit himself badly, and completely settled his chance. bo turned out for a few months. Bonny Mac, who finished fourth, is a three-year-old gelding by Bonny Glen-Reception, and of the lot engaged in the race ho IOOKB likely to make the most improvement. St. Winnow whipped round when the barrier rose, and took no nart in the race. , Margerine, who looked big* well,. se« out to carry her 9si in front all the way in tho November Handicap, with a result that she w-as "done with at the turn for home. John Barleycorn then went on. a«d won clevorlv. Marsa might have just beaten him had she not been carried out at the home turn. Subterfuge ran her usual game race, but was. not good enough at the weights. Bellshire failed to see the journey out in the company. . An unfortunate, accident happened in the Tycho Hack Handicap. Lorraine bolted with her rider, C.
