INQUEST

Before Mr T. A. B. Bailey. Coroner, in the Courthouse yesterday afternoon, an enquirv was held concerning the death'of VTilliam Fancourt Mitchell, a married man. aged 59 years, who lived) at 202 Page's road, and died suddenly at 55 Navlana street, Sumner, at 8.45 p.m. on Tuesday. • Alia Jane Mitchell, wife of thte deceased, stated that her husband had an. attack of influenza at about the end of October. He was so rnn down at the end of November that he had to stay awav from work. Arthur Bushby Pearsonj pathologist at the Christchurch Hospital, said ho had found the heart of deceased greatly enlarged and in a bad state. The causa of death was heart failure due to disease of the heart muscle. A verdict in accordance with the med-1 ical evidence was returned.
