LUXEMBURG.
ALLIANCE SOUGHT WITH ENTENTE. (By Cable.—Press A:«ociation. —Copyiigkt.) (Router's Telegrams.) (Received January loth, 8.00 p.m.) LONDON, January 12. Router's correspondent at Luxemburg states that the Government has issued a proclamation denouncing the revolutionary movement for a republic, and declaring that the Government has decided to seek #n economic alliance with the Entente, especially Franco and' Belgium. The Grand Duchess has announced that if it is necessary, in order to secure the alliance, she will willingly renounce the throne, but the Government is convinced that the preservation of the dynasty at tho present timo is necessary for the guarantee of national autonomy. The final decision has Feem reserved, however, for the will of tho people, legally expressed. AMSTERDAM, January 12. The abdication of the Grand Duchess of Luxemburg is expected immediately. She intends to retire to Bavaria.
