SHIRLEY SCHOOL COMMITTEE. I At the monthly meeting 0 f tho Shirley ! School Committee, thero wero present:— • Messrs Beanland (chairman), Hope, Kobinsoii, Thompson (treasurer), Lorimer, Griffen, Barrett, .Donaldson, and Mrs McKay. A deputation, consisting of Messrs Beanland, Thompson, and Griffon, was appointed to wait on tho Education Board, with reference to the purchase of more ground for the schooL The chairman reported that arrangements had been made for the grass to be cut before the school re-opened on January 27th.
