Pederewski has gone to Poland to bring about cooperation between the Prussian, Austrian, and Russian Poles. He was sent there to form a new Government at Warsaw. THE DESPICABLE HUN. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) (Delayed Cablegrams.) (Received January 10th, 11.45 p.m.) AMSTERDAM, January 4. After M. Padercwski and Colonel Wade (British Army) arrived at Posen, the Germans continuously sniped their rooms. Children march- . ing in procession past the hotel cried "Long live England," whereupon a German machine-gun fired, killing several children. Poleß defended the hotel for two days until the Polish army captured the city.
